THE LORDS' RESISTENCE GOVERNMENT WILL CERTAINLY DISAGREE.

LIBERAL PAPER'S OPINION. LONDON, 10th February. The Daily Chronicle (Liberal) points out that the Government will certainly disagree with the Lords' resistance, as being tantamount to disbanding the Crown's forces. The Chronicle continues : " Mr. Asquith, following Mr. Long in the debate, will be conciliatory to Ulster, but Messrs. Redmond, Dillon, and O'Connor will hold that any concessions ought to be announced late in the session, and the Opposition should pay the price by undertaking to facilitate an Irish settlement."
