ENTERTAINMENTS
PAUL DUFAULT TO-NIGHT. The first concert of the Paul Dufault season will be given to-night at the Town Hall, under the auspices of the Royal Wellington Choral Society. The programme for to-night is a remarkably fine one, and, in addition to many of the .numbers in which Paul Dufault won success here before, will include many new items. Mr. Dufault's big number will be the tenor aria from "Le Cid." He will also sing numerous ballads, including the regimental song "Au Pays," with its stirring accompaniment ; the beloved "Sylvelin," and, of course, "Invictus." All Miss Pauline Bindley's numbers will be in English, her principal contribution being the aria "One Fine Day" from 1 "Madame Butterfly." Ernest Toy's , violin numbers will include an arrangement of Airs from "Faust." Harold Whittle, the wellknown pianist, will preside at the piano. The remaining three concerts of the Dufault season will be given at the Opera House to-morrow, Friday and Saturday evenings.
