PHYSICAL TRAINING OF TEACHERS
LIGHTENING OF OTHER WORK. (IV TEI.EGR»rn.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) HAWERA, 6th February. A meeting of a hundred teachers attending tho physical training camp at. Hawera unanimously resolved to express thorough appreciation of tho importance of the benefits of the work, but wished to point out the impossibility of doing justice to this import-ant branch of education without some lightening of the work required by the standard syllabus on the intellectual side. A copy of the resolution is to be sent to the Inspectors' Conference in Wellington.
