A meeting of the Master Builders' Union adopted the executive's recommendation to continue the existing methods of settlement of disputes on legal lines at the piesent juncture. The trouble is, therefore, for the time being, settled. AVHARF LABOURERS. ANOTHER STOP-WORK MEETING. (Received February 4. 9.30 a.m.) SYDNEY. This Day. The wharf men will hold another stopwork meeting on Friday night next to consider the position with regard to the employers' attitude. FOUR NEWCASLE PITS IDLE." (Received February 4, 9.35 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Four Newcastle pits are idle owing to disputes. LONDON BUILDERS' LABOURERS. CLAIMS FOR UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS. (Times— Sydney Sun Special Cables.) The Court of Referees upheld the decision to disallow the claims for unemployment benefits under the Insurance Act made by the builders' labourers. There are no signs of a settlement of the trouble.
