LAND BILL TO BE INTRODUCED IN JUNE AFTER LIBERALS ARE AGAIN RETURNED. (U? Telegraph.— Presi Association.— Copyright.) LONDON, 3rd February. The Marquis of Lincolnshire (formerly Earl Carrington), speaking at High Wycombe, stated on Mr. Lloyd George's authority that the Land Bill would be introduced in June next, when the Liberals had again been returned to power. The statement is interpreted to mean that there will be a general election in May next. A CONFERENCE. MR. REDMONiTaND MESSRS. ASQUITTI AND BIRRELL. LONDON, 3rd February. Mr. John Redmond (Nation? list Leader) had a lengthy conference with the Prime Minister (Mr. Asquith) and the Chief Secretary for Ireland (Mr. Birrell). This is regarded as significant in view of the meeting of Parliament next week.
