For Australian .States (due Sydney, 10th February), per Ulitnaroa, 3.30 p.m. (Moni'y ordefs must be obtained two hours before the advertised time of closing the mails,) Mails for Chatham Islands close tit Lyttelton, per Ilimitangi, on Wednesday, )4tli February, at 10.50 a.m. The next best despatch for correspondence addressed to United Kingdom" and Continent of Europe will be via Brindisi, closing at Wellinston, on Friday, fith February, at 3.30 p.m. The next best despatch for rorr"ppoiidence address>ed to Fiji, Fanning Island, Honolulu, Canada, United States of America, Central America, and West Indies will be via Vancouver, closing at Wellington, per Main Trunk express, on Friday, 13th February/ The Parcel Post Mail per Main Trunk Express close's at the C.P.O. at 10.30 a.m., and for the South per ferry steamer at 0 p.m. A< the last clearance of the City receivers is made at 6 p.m. on Saturdays, all correspondence for the Sunday night Auckland express must be posted at the Chief Post Office not later than lAS p.m. on Sunday. The public are earnestly requested to register all letters containing money or valuables intended to be sent by post. All books and sample packets and newspapers for places within the Dominion must he posted half an hour before the ordinary letter mall closes. Unless otherwise i-pecifled, registered letters and parcels, post packages must be handed in and money orders obtained one hour before the ordinary mall .closes. All the principal mails by train and steamer close at Te Al;o and Courtenay-place Post Ollices at the same hours as at the Chief Post Office, lwth the exception that there is no late-fee clearance, and that mails by the ferry steamers for Southern Offices, also mails for Auckland mid Auckland district by the. second Maid Trunk train, close at 6 p.m. A.
