MOTOR CYCLISTS' PICNIC
Sunday's fine weather induced a large number of motor cyclists and others_ to take part in the outing at Moonshine, held under the auspices of the Wellington and Hutt Valley Motor Cycling Clubs. _ The picnic, which was held at Victoria Bridge, was successful in every way, although on the homeward journey the weather was not as favourable as could have been desired. It has been arranged to hold several outings of a like n&ture.
Satisfactory attendances prevailed at the services held on Sunday in connection with the anniversary of the Methodist Sunday School, Jackson-street, Petone. The preacher in the morning was Mr. E. E. Sage, while Rev. J. J. Lewis conducted the evening services. The singing of the Children's Choir, under the conductorship of Mr. E. Gamble, was a feature of the services. A Greymouth lady believes, it a safe* guard, against colds. She says : "My brothers and I had bad colds, so we thought we would try Tonking's Linseed Emulsion, which cured our colds wonderfully. We will always have a bottle in the house as a safeguard." Have you a cough of long standing? Get relief at once by using Touking's Linseed Emulsion. — Advt.
