His hand got caught in a wire connecting a hauler with the logs, and four fingers were pulled out at (he knuckle. While ho was being brought from Kirikopuni to Dargavillc, tho horso bolted, ami he and a companion had a narrow escape. Tho buggy capsized, and was smashed to matchwood.
