April 20. — Inspects the division of Otago troops in camp at Sutton, and returns to Dunedin. April 30. — Leaves Dunedin by the first express; inspects the North Otago Cadets at Oamaru and the South Canterbury Cadets at Timaru, and proceeds to Christchurch. May i. — Inspects the Canterbury troopg at Mount Torlesse. May 2. — Inspects the Lyttelton coast defences and the Christchurch, North Canterbury, and Westland Cadets. May 4.-— lnspects the Nelson and Marlborough troops in camp at Nelson and the West port Cadets. May s.— lnspects the Wellington troops in camp at Takapau. May 6.— Field operations by the Wellington district troops at Takapau. May 7.— Arrives at Cambridge, and inspects the troops in camp.
