FRENCH FINANCE DEFICIT OF TWELVE MILLIONS
EXTRAORDINARY EXPENDITURE. (By Telegraph.— Press Aeaod&tlon.-Copyrlghfc.) (Received February 3, 8.30 a.m.) PARIS, 2nd February. The French Minister of Finance, M. Caillaux, addressing his constituents, foreshadowed a deficit of twelve million pounds and additional extraordinary ex> penditure totalling Bixty-two millions. Ho warned the wealthy bourgeoisie that selfish resistance to the income tax would be the most unwise of all policies.
