REVISION OF LAWS OF THE GAME
COLOURS OF TEAjMS. DUNEDIN, 14th January. At a meeting- of the council of the ■ Dominion -.Bowling Association to-day, it was decided to consider the revision of the laws of the game, and principles as laid down in the laws drawn up by Mr. Barnett were approved. A subcommittee consisting of Messrs. Barnett, Payne, and Allan was appointed to go through these laws for the purpose of altering their arrangement wherever necessary, and making them quite clear. ft It was also decided that the Scotfc testing machine be recognised as the official test by the association to come into effect as from Ist June. Each of < the four centres is to be supplied with a machine. It was further resolved that at all future tournaments held under the jurisdiction of the association, players taking part must wear white pants and the colours of their club. The colours of teams playing for the Dominion of N.Z.B.A. shall be white with a blue fern leaf over the pocket and the letters N.Z. as a monograrfj. , A sum of £75 was donated to the secretary as a bonus for extra work entailed in connection with the formation of the association and the running of the, tournament.
