MILES OP FORESHORE SWEPT HEAVY DAMAGE DONE. (By Telegraph.— Press Association— Copyright.) MELBOURNE, 22nd December. Disastrous bush fires are raging in the Aspendal© district. It is reported that a number of residences have been destroyed. (Received December 23, 9.20 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The bush fire at Atspondale- Kwopt for miles along tho foreshore upon which; «tood a. hundred houses and bungalows of week-end campers. The damage, is estimated at betweem £20,000 and £30,000, which is mostly, covered by insurance.
