NOTE TO POWERS
ISLANDS CAPTURED IN AEGEAN SEA GREAT BRITAIN'S PROPOSALS. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) (Received December 17, 8.20 a.m.) PARIS, 16th December. Le Temps says that Great Britain has forwarded a Note to the Powers proposing that Greece should retain the occupied felands in tho Sea except Imbros and Tenedos, whilst giving guarantee* concerning their fortification, and also proposing that Italy should restore the captured islands to Turkey, which promises to grant them autonomy.
