United States of America, Central America, We3t Indies, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe close at Auckland, per Makura, on Monday, 22nd December, at 7.45 p.m. The Parcel Post Mail per Main Trunk Express closes at the C.P.O. at 10.80 a.m., and lor the South per ferry steamer at 6 p.m. As the last clearance of the City receivers Is made at 6 p.m. on Saturdays, all correspondence for the second Auckland express on Sundays must be posted at the Chief Post Office by 7.45 p.m. The public are earnestly requested to register all letters containing money or valuables intended to be sent by post.
