TRAMS 'AND BUTTER
TO THI EDITOR. Sir,—The public are interested to know how long now the present Unsatisfactory tramway time-table is going to continue. I am personally affected as regards the Aro-stroefc tiorviee, and being a short-die-tance one, many prefer to walk rather than, wait twenty-four minutes for a car, as the distance can be covered on foot in half that time. It is hoped that the twelve minutes' service will very soon be in force, and that the City Council will not imitate tho butter factory proprietors who raised the price of butter to Is 3d through scarcity of feed, but noiv that rain has been abundant and cows can be up to their middle in green fodder the price sticks.at drought prices. Very curious. — I am, etc., PATER. 12th December, 1913.
