The Trades Unionists' Conference has not received any further information from New Zealand, and has adjourned till to-morrow. Free labour is working the cargo from the Ihumata and Canada Cape. The employees of the Union Box Company are still maintaining that the Ihumata's timber is "black." The Makura and Tofua have got supplies of coal at Newcastle, and are returning to Sydney on Wednesday morning. The Makura sailed for Vancouver, via Auckland, on Thursday. The Maungantd returns to Wellington on Saturday.
