Pearson, Master StebMngs. WITHIN WIRELESS RANGE. The following vessels should be within wireless range tills evening :— Rlrautaka, Niagara, Indrapura, and Wahine. ROTOR (JA LEFT CAPETOWN. Advice was received from the New Zealand Shipping Company "to-day announcing the arrival of the liner ilotorua at Capetown at midnight on Thursday last. The vessel was to resume her voyage to Wellington, via Hobnrt, on Saturday, and is due here about the 7th January. She left London on the 22nd November. HAVRE BRINGING CASE OIL. The Wellington office of the British Imperial Oil Company has been advised by. cable that the steamer Havre left Singapore last Wednesday for New Zealand poi;ts fully laden with cases of "Shell" benzine. Auckland will be the vessel's first port of call, and she should arrive there about the 31st hist. On completion of discharge at the northern port the Havre will sail for Napier, Wellington, Lyttel' ton, and Duhedin. She is due here about the second week in January. Tl;e Sbaw-SaviU steamer Kumara, which left Liverpool on the 6th, iSst. for New Zealand ports, is due at Wellington about the 26th January. The officers with Captain J. Foster on the Takapuna are-*— Chief, Mr, B. Reeves; second, Mr S. Page; chief engineer, Mr P. McDonald; second, Mr M. McConville; third, Mr J. Townsend ; assistant, Mr E. Young ; chief steward, Mr J. O'Brien. During the Christmas and New, Year weeks the Karuwa will leave Onebunga on Mondays anil Wednesdays, a,nd New Plymouth on, Tues- j days and Thursdays. The Taluiie, which arrived, at Auckland on Saturday from the Eastern Papi#c, wi,lt lay up, at the northern port until about the 13th January. * It is expected that {he Union Company's big cargo carrier Waitouio will leave Auckland on the 24th inst. for Dunedin, via Wellington and Lyttelton. The auxiliary schooner HuUji arrived in port yesterday with a cargo of explosives ex the Waiwera at Auckland. The vessel will; prooeed to southern ports after discharging the Wellington portion of her cargo. Definite advice Ua,s been, received by the Union Company announcing the departure oft the Wau;una from Suva f,or Wellington. The vessel is due here with fruit either on Thursday or Friday next. She is bringing 3000 bunches and 8500 boxes of bananas for discharge at Wellington. The Eahu has been loading case oil for Nnpier, and will take her departure some time to-day. She will return to Wellington next Saturday, bringing wool from various coastal bays.
