A meeting of shareholders of the Crown Mines passed a resolution that a cablegram be sent to London as follows : — "Meeting of Crown shareholders dissatisfied control since reconstruction, request appointment of two directors to London Board to represent New Zealand. Shareholders suggest to adjourn tho meeting of the 18th for six weeks till advices arrive. Letter following."
