INTER-COLLEGE CRICKET
WELLINGTON v. WANGANUI. The cricket match between the Wanganui and Wellington Colleges was continued on the College ground this morning. As a result of the heavy showers the wicket was vary heavy, and it was not until 11.30 that play began. Marris and Morton, the remaining two Wellington batsmen, brought the score from 40 to 56 before the former was dismissed. The local team was again called on to bat, and when an adjournment was made for lunch the score stood at two wickets for 18 runs. About ten minutes after resumption play again had to bo stopped owing to the rain. It will be continued at 10 a.m. to-morrow. Details : Wellington. — First Innings (continued).
