B«ef.— There is no change ih prices, but trade is quiet on account of decline for chilled. Chilled hinds, 41d per lb; fores, 3£d. Buttor.— The market remains firm with no change in prioes for Australian, New Zealand, and Argentine. Danish, por cwt., 130s to 1335; Siberian, 110s to 114s. Cheeee. — The market remains firm with a fair demand. Cftn&dian, white, per cwt., 66s to 675; coloured, 67s to 68p; New Zealand, white, 66s to 665; coloured, 66s to 67». There is no change in prices for English, Australian, and Dutoh cheddars. Hemp. — Manila : The market is quiet, but rather steadier. Fair current Manila, per ton, £29; October to January, £27 15s; January to March, £28. Tho output from Manila for the week was 14,000 bales. New Zealand : More business has been doing at the decline, but mostly at second-hand. Dominion seller* are holding off. The market closed rather quiet. Good fair, per ton, £26 15s to £27 ; fair, £24. These quotations are nominal. October to December, good fair, per ton, £26 10s; fair, £24 106; January to March, 6s moro. Tho stock at the end of November was 2080 tons. Cocksfoot. — The market is rather more active, and tendency is upward on account of the falling-off of Danish supplies. Bright clean New Zealand seed, weighing 171b per bushel, per owt., 51s 6d. WooJ.—- The market for tops is quiet. All grades aro id per lb lower than previous quotations.
