AMATEUR ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION
The tenth annual meeting of. the Wellington Centre of the New Zealand Ama* teur Athletic Association was; held last night, Mr. R. W. M'Villy presiding. The annual report stated that there were nineteen clubs affiliated to the centre, and congratulatory reference was made to the action of the association in arranging for the visit of a team of American athletes. Mr. M'Villy donated a challenge cup for field events, and permits to hold meetings were granted to the Victoria College Club, Athletic Football Sports Club, and Seatoun Amateur Athletic Club. The election of office-bearers for the ensuing season resulted as follows :—: — President, Mr. E. W. M'Villy; vicepresidents, Messrs. E. A. Dawson, W. S. Corby, and Burnett ; hon. secretary, ■ Mr. C. -T. Young ; hon. treasurer, Mr. A. C. Kitto; hon. handicappers, Messrs. A. C. Kitto, W. H. Thompson, and W. H. Pollock; hon. starter, Mr. T. W.. Leslie; hon. auditor, Mr. A. .Hitching ; hon. local officer, Mr. J. \V. Heenan ; delegates to N.Z.A.A.A., Messrs. F. Larkin and^B. A. Guise.
