CREWS OF ALL SHIPS TO GIVE TWENTY-FOUR HOURS' NOTICE.

As the result of a meeting of the Wellington Seamen's Union, hefd this morning, Mr. W. T. Young announced that it had been decided that "the crews of all ships should give twe'ntyfour hours' notico." Presumably this applies only to vessels registered in New Zealand. SEAMEN IN CONFERENCE. At the meeting of tho Wellington Seamen's Union this morning, delegates were appointed to confer with representatives from Auckland and Dunedin with respect to the present position. The conference was being held at, The Post went to press.
