[Mr. Hennessy recently explained to a crowded meeting in New York that Mr. Sulzei 1 while Governor resisted every attempt at bribery. The Antarctic ship Aurora sails on the Bth inst. for Hobart, whence she sails on the 15th for the Macquaries to relieve Dr. Mawson. NOBEL PRIZE FOR SCIENCE. BERLIN, 31st October. Professor Charles Richet, president of the Society of International Arbitration, has been awivrded the Nobel Prize for science. [Professor Richet was born in 1850, and educated at the Lycee Bonaparte. In 1905 he was president of the Society for Physical Researches of London. His writings are numerous.]
