IN THE FEDERAL HOUSE STORMY PASSAGES, (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) MELBOURNE, 30th October. The Liberal Party, at a, meeting, decided to ignore the snap-shot vote carried in. the Federal House of Representatives by the Opposition while several of the Liberals were absent attending a funeral. Mr. Cook, tho Prime Minister, said that it was not a situation for the Government to meet. There have been stormy passages in the House over the division. Mr. Cook was called to order for making charges against the Opposition of "faking" 'the pairs book, and fixing up pairs between dead Opposition ana live Government members. Mr. Fisher (Leader of the Opposition) denied any knowledge of the pairs, ana stated that he had forgotten about Mr. Knoat's funeral.
