♦ CAUSES SEA TO INVADE PORTSMOUTH STREETS. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) LONDON, '30th October. When the battleship Orion was leaving Portsmouth at high tide, her huge displacement caused the aea to invade the streets to a depth of several feet near the harbour entrance. Children were removed from the school in boats. [The Orion, the flagship of the RearAdmiral of the Second Battle Squadron, is a vessel of 22,600 tons displacement.]
