UNITED STATES MAY OCCUPY TERRITORY. TO FORCE AN IMPARTIAL ELECTION. LONDON, 30th October. The Daily Mail states that it is believed that the United States intends to temporarily occupy Mexican territory ita order to force an impartial election. Mr. Page (United States Ambassador in London) has assumed t Sir Edward Grey (British Foreign Minister) that his Government is absolutely determined not to recognise Huerta. The European Powers will probably leave the United States to restore order. ANOTHER ALLEGED PLOT. STORY TOLD BY WOMEN. (By Telegraph.— Preei Association.— Copyright.) (Received October 31, 1 p.m.) MEXICO CITY, 30th October. An alleged plot to murder General Huerta has been reported. Two women visited the President, and announced that they possessed evidence of an assassination plot. Several ' arrests of parties the women named were effected.
