KRUPP'S & MILITARY SECRETS CORRESPONDENCE SEIZED IT IS OF CONSIDERABLE IMPORTANCE. {By telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) (Received October 31, 9 a.m.) BERLIN, 1 30 th October, The hearing of charges of bribery—in fcrder to obtain military information in regard to tenders for War Office conffcracts—against Brandt and Eccius, direc Jtora of Krupp's, was continued. Counsel stated that correspondence (seized at Yon Metzen's residence contained secret military information which, Hi publioly read, might result in endless harm. The correspondence also referred to matters touching military secrets of foreign Powers, including members of the Triple Alliance. [Yon Metzen, formerly Krapp's represensative at' Berlin, who is himself prosecuting Krupp's for dismissing him, asserted at the trial that he possessed correspondence from Krupp's directors showing that many of the latter were aware of the systenj of obtaining confidential information/ Counsel for the prosecution and the defence alike vehemently protested against the production in the middle of the case of documents that had been withheld at the preliminary proceedings, but the Court ordered their production.]
