NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING. Mr. A. G. Henderson presided 6ver the annual meeting of the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association held last oveni ing. The following delegates were present:— Messrs. D. M. Kcan and 11. St. J. Beeve (Wellington) Mr. B. Keesing (Auckland), Messrs. G. Gore and -P. White-Parsonß (Canterbury), Messrs. F. F. Grady and R. N. X, Swanston (Hawkes Bay), Mr. A. L. Berry (Otago), Messrs. W. Frasor and A. Jeffrey (Wanganui), and Mr. L. G. Mackay (Taranslri). The annual report stated that it has been decided that tho New Zealand championships bo held at Auckland on tho 26th, 27th, 29th, and 30th December, 1913. Tho Eden and Epsom Lawn Tennis Club has agreed to provide six grass courts, available for the meeting. " Ayres' Championship Ball" has been adopted for tho meoting. Tho thanks of the association are due to the players and gentlemen who assisted in tho Auckland and Canterbury matches in connection with the New Zealand tour by tho English Davis Cup team, and to tho Auckland and Canterbury Associations for managing the matches bo successfully. With reference to the Wellington match the committee placed on record its appreciation of the services of Miss Hannay, Rev. Dean M'Kenna, Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Gore, Hon. F. M. B. Fisher, Messrs. White-Parsons, D. Murray Kean, M. E. Denniston, G!" N. Goldie, the gentlemen who acted as linesmen, and Mr. Horswood. Special mention must bo made of the services rendered by Mr. A. L. Berry, who managed tho match in the absence of Mr. Petherick, who was engaged with the meetings in Hawkes Bay. Messrs Ayros, Ltd., "tho various secretaries of associations, and the press were also thanked. Tho statement of accounts showed that the championship mooting at Hastings realised a profit to the association of £120 4s 6d, the exceflß"of income over expenditure for the year • being £136 Is Id. Tho report and balance-sheet were adopted. The following officers wore elected for the ensuing year : Patron, His Excellency the Governor; president, Mr. W. R. Schole•field (London) ; delegates to the Australasian Association, Messrs. V. H. Baxter, H. Y. Btwddon, C. T. Motcalfe, and A. E. Wetherby; management committee, Hon. F. M. B. Fisher, M.P. (chairman) and Messrs. R. St. .1. Beere, A.-L. Berry, H. M. Gore, D. JM. Kean, P. White-Pajsons. and A. G. Henderson ; representatives Olympic Council, Messrs. R. St. J. Beere and B. A motion was carried after tm amendment was lost, that the application of th© proposed Waikato Association be granted, subject to tho proposed association forwarding the constitution to bo approved when received. A latter addressed to the Hon. F. M. 'B. Fisher from Mr. Frank S. Wilding, of Christchurch, *who recently "Visited Canada, stated that the Canadians were anxious to tour this Dominion.— lt was decided to aok the Canadian team to accept an invitation, and to supply particulars of tho terms on which the trip would be made.- c
