APPEAL BY THE POLICE
Commissioner of Police Oullen appeals to tho public not generally connected with the strike or on actual business to keep out of the Post Offloe Square. The curious public only hamper the. police in the execution of their duty and render their task of maintaining order much more difficult than is necessary, 'v. It would be well if the public uncon^ nected with the .strike or strikers kept away | altogether from the Square, Tha, Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke) also urgently requests citizens to refrain from congregating in Post Office Square.
