FLOODS IN SAN SALVADOR
. «. FIFTY-FOUR PERSONS DROWNED. A VILLAGE DESTROYED. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) (Received October 30, 1.30 p.m.) SAN SALVADOR, 29th October. Floods followed a heavy downpour of rain, and drowned fifty -four persons, also partially destroying the village of Vera Cruz, nqar Viciente. All low-lying country is inundated. The loss of property is heavy.
