IN WANGANUI

MEN ACTING CAUTIOUSLY. (bt telegraph— press association.) WANGANUI, 29th October. At the meeting of the local wateraiders to-day, it was decided that all cargo which has been handled by unionists be worked. Labour on the local wharves, which is mainly dealing with transhipments from Wellington, is particularly slack. In fact, it has not been very brisk for some weeks past, so that the local watersiders are somewhat chary about playing ducks and drakes with their living. They do not belong to the Federation of Labour.
