SWIMMING
A committee meeting of the Wor6er Bay Amateur Swimming and Life-saving Club was held last ovonmg. Mr. R, W. Shallorass, general secretary of the Sports Protection League, attended and explained the objects and aims of the league. Tho e&asou will b© opened by tho president (Mr. J. Brodio) next Saturday afternoon (Ist November). A 50yds open race will bd held, and afternoon tea will be provided free by tho members of tho Ladies' Committee.
