AUCKLAND, 28th October. Albert Cash, who was undergoing a sentence of imprisonment for life for murdering his wife, near Helensville, three years ago, died in the Public Hospital to d»y from consumption. An aeroplane owned by* Messrs. Miller and Sandford, with the latter as pilot, flew to a heignt of 450 ft at Avon-, dale to-day, anc\, an a circular flight, covered^ about five miles. The pilot turned to the starting ppint, and alighted safely. TE\KUITI, 28th October. At the Magistrate's Court to-day C. Lewer was^ fined £50 and costs, and W. Gawler was fined the same amount, on charges of keeping liquor for sale.
