Larkin'e influence is waning, and the situation in regard to the strike is becoming more hopeful. A leading employer and a leading trade unioiiist have agreed on a formula based on the immediate resumption of work; and recognition of the union, which undertakes to hold a ballot before another strike. It is likely that the formula will be generally adopted Extraordinary scenes continue on tho quays and at the railway stations. The Catholic Young Men's and Hibernian Societies' picket* turned back some parents with children, and- some Englishmen who wer© sending their children to England were mobbed and the children wrested away from them. A crowd held up a cab containing two women and three children. The mother mounted on tho driver's seat, brandished a Tope, and produced her marriage certificate. She was allowed to proceed. BOMB EXPLOSIONS. MAN AND BOY INJURED. LONDON, 27th October. Two mysterious bomb explosions oc« curred in different streets in Dublin last evening. A man and a bo£ were in* jured. LARKIKT FOUND GUILTY. SENTENCED TO SEVEN MONTHS' IMPRISONMENT. (Received October 28, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 27th October. , Larkin was found, guilty of uttering seditious words and sentenced to seven months' imprisonment. Ho challenged several of the jurymen on the ground that they were prejudiced, and others were chosen.
