LOSS OF A KETCH

COOL BOY SCOUTS. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) LONDON, 26th October. The ketch sunk in collision on the Thames carried a captain, two seamen, and thirteen Boy Sea Scouts. The latter were in their berths when the steamer Hogarth collided with the ketch, practically cutting it in halves. The vessel sank in a few minutes. The lads obeyed orders with the utmost coolness. Several seized ropes which were thrown to them, and the Hogarth's boat rescued others. [A previous message stated that four of the boys were drowned.]
