Every member of the Party was either present or accounted for, and all displayed eagerness to carry out the intentions of the Cabinet with regard to policy measures. The Government Whip added that there was a feeling among members of the Government Party that they were prepared to -stay in Wellington 'for an Indefinite period, provided that the Government's legislative pro■gramme outlined at the beginning of the 'session is carried out.
