Bishop Frodsham, formerly of North Queensland, addressing the Society of the Sacred Mission, said the weakness in the remoter parishes of England was deplorable. Many of the clergy did not receive 80s weekly. The cases of clerical poverty were a disgrace to the Church; which battened upon the clergy's private means. He recommended tho application of the Australian ,Bush Brotherhood's methods to the rural parishes.
