BATTLE OF LEIPZIG
GIGANTIC GRANITE MEMORIAL DEDICATION CEREMONIES KAISER AND OTHER ROYAL PERSONAGES WILL ATTEND. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.-- Copyright.) (Received October 13, 10 a.m.) BERLIN, 12th October. The tfateer and other Gorman Royal personages will attend, on the l'Bth hist., ceremonies in donriectioti with the dedication of a gigantic granite memorial of the battle of Leipzig. The monument, which is pyraniidal, is three hundred feet high, and cost £300,000. Thirty-seVen thousand three hundred and fifty-five German athletes will participate in relay races from all parts of Germany, also in America and Brazil, conveying congratulatory messages to the Kaiser at Leipzig. The American message will be carried from Washington to New York, thence by steamer to Bremen, whence athletes, in relays, will tnke it to Leipzig.
