MANAGER'S REPORT. Waitangi. — In the intermediate I©yol No. 1 leader was risen upon to a .total hoight of 18ft, averaging 7 inohea wide, and boing heavily mineralised. From No. 2 leader in No. 4--stope north, about 2lb of picked stono was solected. The drive east from the rise in No. 2 intermediate level 'is in 17ft, the ore improving in appearance. In No. 4- Bemoh level the drive west is in 55 feet from tho main drive, tho reef maintaining a width of about 3 feet of solid quartz. Gold wae eeon freely in the ore broken out in tho footwall portion of tho reef east of the fault at tho eastern end of No. 4- level. The gold was well distributed through the reef, and 12 tons of the ore was trucked to tho surface.
