TEAM REPRESENTATIVE OF EMPIRE. MR. M'INTOSH'S OFFER. (By Telegraph.— Press 1 ' Association.— Copyright.) LONDON, 30th August. ■ Mr. Hugh M'lntosh, the well-known sportsman, and_ boxing promoter, in a letter to The Times, urges that tho Dominions are anxious to sustain the athletic supremacy of the British race. It is therefore desirable, ho says, to send to the Gamee an Olympic team representing the whole of the Empire. Ho undertakes, if Groat Britain consents to organise the Olympic team in conjunction with tho Dominions, to raise £5000 in Australia towards finding the training necessary for likely champions.
