A QUESTION OF TASTE
MR. HINDMARSH AND MR. FISHER The member for Wellington South (Mr. A. H., Hindmarsh) made a brief but ! pointed reference to the Hon. F. M. B/ Fisher in the House last night. The subject under discussion was whether the public should be given freer access to the General Assembly Library. Incidentally he remarked that Mr. Fisher had declared that he would not take a seat in the Maesey Government. Mr. Fisher: But he got there! (Laughter.) Mr. Hindmarsh: Yes, and why? Because he chased Mr. Maesey round in the most indecent way. The Chairman: The hon. gentleman must confine himself to the subject under discussion. Mr. Hindmarsh : I submit that I am confining myself to the subject under discussion, because there are books on good taste in the library, and I submit that I am referring to a question of taste.
