Consignments have been sent tc Auckland and Christchurch, and the local merchants have also been supplied. Fuel oil is being sent away as fast as it is produced, and it is expected that* kerosene, lubricating oil, and wax will be placed on the market next week. Good progress is being made with drilling by the .'arious companies. The Taranaki Oil Wells shares are in demand. Three hundred were transferred this week at 18s each.
