The early opening of the season is due to the succession of invigorating rains and genial sunshine which have continued during this month, producing such plentiful supplies for the factories in the dairying lands that new butter is ready for shipment fully three weeks earlier than last year, when ths first consignments, comprising some 3000 boxes, were shipped from Auckland by the Turakioa on 20th September " ~
