OTAGO t. WELLINGTON. Wellington will defend the shield against Otago at Karori Park to-morrow afternoon. The local team will be as follows: Dwyer, Pullyn, M'Eldowney, ttaigh, Campbell, Robbie, (J. Strack, G. Strack, Boyd, and Griffiths ; emergencies, Gaze, Thomson, and Da vies. Otago will j be represented by the following: Leith, ! Davies, 'Smart, Bannernlan, Slater, Mt | Drake, Thompson, Ryburn, F. V. Drake, Andreae, and Cullitord. The Otago University team accompanies the representatives, and will play • Victoria College on the following Monday. As A curtain-raiser, the Wellington junior representatives will meet the Canterbury juniors. The Wellington team ia as follows: Cockrell, Knox, Spier*, Thompson (United), Martin, Fosette, Emeny, Salek, Jones, Collins, M'Dougall (Wellington); and C. Martin; emergencies, Ballantyne, Vallance, and Webley. The final ladies' trial representative game will also be played prior to tho big game.
