OVERSEAS CLUB
The annual meeting of the- Ovewea* Club was held last night. Sir Edward Osborne-Gibbts wa* in the chair. The report and balance-aheet were adopted. It waa elated that the branch had a membership list of 260. The following offloew were elected :— President, Mr. A. de Bathe Brandon; vice-presidents, Sir Edward O&orneGibbes, Bart., and Mr. F. J. Courtney; secretary, Captain. W. do R. Barclay; treasurer, Mr. W. Beauchamp Platts; men's committee, Messrs. C. St. 6. Gore, W. Hudson, W. Bethune, F. Reeveß, W. Fry, H. F. Yon Haast, A. G. Hume; ladies' committee, M«edame» Butte, Rom, Mift««» young, Duncan, G&wlor, Harrington, and Richardson.
