Honolulu, Canada, United States of America, Central America, West Indies, United Kingdom, and Continent of Europe close at Auckland, per Marama, on Saturday, 30th August, at 8.30 a.m. The parcels branch of the Post Office is now located in the basement of the new Post Office building, the publid entrance being from Greystreet. The public are earnestly requested to register all letters containing money or valuables intended to be sent by post. All books and sample packets and newspapers for places within the Dominion must be posted half mi hour before the ordinary letter mail closes. Unless otherwise specified registered letters and parcels-post packages must be banded in and money orders obtained one hour before the ordinary mail closes. All the principal mails by train and steamer close at the Te Aro and Courtenay Place Post Offices at the same hours as at the Chief Post Office, with the exception that there is no late-fee clearance, and that, mails by the ferry steamers for Southern Offices close at S p.m. A.
