JACK JOHNSON AT A MUSIC HALL
ETHICAL DISCUSSION. (By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copyright.) (Received August 20, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, 19th AugUßt. The engagement of Jack Johnson, the pugilist, now in Lodon, to appear at a suburban music hall has raised the question of music hall ethics. The Evening News declares that the public does not want to see the chief figure in unsavoury cases appear on the stage. The Variety Artists' Federation has arranged to discuss the question.
