SERIOUS ACCIDENT

James Baldwin, a son of Mr; W. Baldwin, • College-street, was admitted to tho Otaki Hospital to-day suffering from severe injuries. He was employed by the Telegraph Department, and was working at Paekakariki, when a pole fell on, him, crushing his leg. The exact extent of the injuries has not yet been ascertained.
