1 ' m THE RIDDD7ORD ESTATE. Legal argument in the case 'of the executors of. the Riddiford Estate against the Commissioner of Stamps was continued before "the full bench of 'six Judges at the Supreme Court to-day. , M.r. C. P. Skerrett, K.C., with him Mr. M. Myers, appeared for the appelants; and the Attorney-General (Hon. A. L. Herdman), with him Mr. H. H. .Ostler, for the respondent. ' The principal point, at issue in the case is whether that portion <oi the Riddiford estate included, in- the deed of ■ partnership executed by the late Mr. Riddiford and His Sons is liable for estate and' succession duties. • • The difference between the Crown assessment of .duties and the computation by the executors amounts to bohig £35,000.' -' (Proceeding.)
