NORTHLAND METHODIST SUNDAY SCHOOL
Anniversary services in connection i with the Northland Methodist Sunday School were held yesterday, and were Well attended. The children; who were - trained by the Rev. P. J. Cqssum, sang several choruses, and Lily Daniel and Miss Clark sang solos that were much appreciated. Special addresses appropriate to the occasion were delivered by the Rev. P. J. Cossum at 11 a.m., Rev. G. P. Cook at 3 p.m., and Mr. Varney (of the V.M.C.A.) at 7 p.m. The celebrations will be continued on Wednesday next, when the annual tea and publiG meeting will be held.
The Ladies' Auxilia-ry of the V.M.C.A has arranged a social afternoon next Friday in place of the garden party, which was postponed on < account of the weather. It is to be held at 3 o'clock in the V.M.C.A. rooms, and Mrs.' Chapman and Mrs. Alexander and other ladies of the Chapman-Alexander Mission are to be present and take part. The same tickets issued 1 for the garden party, will admit to the "social." •
